Put a limited number of different prizes into a bag. Users tip a specific amount to pull a prize from the bag. Awarded prize can be random, or you can allow users to select which prize they want. When all prizes are awarded, the bag is empty.

Summary of “Grab Bag” bot:

This bot allows the broadcaster to add a selection prizes into a “Grab Bag”. Users can tip a single amount to receive a prize from the bag. Once the bag is empty, no further prizes will be awarded until the bag is refilled. The bag can be refilled by restarting the bot, or the broadcaster can add prizes to the bag.

Up to 10 unique prizes can be added to the bag, and each unique prize can be in the bag multiple times. The odds of drawing a prize are based on the total quantity of prizes. For example:

Prize #1: 5 pushups (5 available, odds to win: 17.86%)
Prize #2: 10 squats (5 available, odds to win: 17.86%)
Prize #3: kiss bicep (10 available, odds to win: 35.71%)
Prize #4: suck in gut (5 available, odds to win: 17.86%)
Prize #5: twerk (1 available, odds to win: 3.57%)
Prize #6: read a poem (2 available, odds to win: 7.14%)

Peek Mode

There are two different modes that can be used.

Peeking is not allowed. The user can not select their prize. They always receive a random available prize from the bag.

Peeking allowed. Users can optionally enter the prize number in the tip note and they will receive that specific prize if it is available. If the prize is not available or they enter an invalid prize number, they will receive a random prize.

Consolation Prize

An optional consolation prize can be configured. If a consolation prize is available, that prize will be granted when a user tips for a prize but the bag is completely empty. If the consolation prize is not available, the user will receive nothing but a thank you if the bag is empty.

Commands

These commands are available to all users:
/gblist: send the list of remaining prizes to the user that entered the command
/gbrules: send the instructions to the user that entered the command
/gbwinners: send the list of winners to the user that entered the command.
/gbhelp: send the list of all commands to the user that entered the command.

These commands are available to mods and the broadcaster:
/gbrules_all: send the instructions to all users
/gblist_all: send the list of remaining prizes to all users

These commands are available to the broadcaster:
/gbset: set the quantity of a specific prize. The command must be entered as follows:
- /gbset
- Example: To change the quantity of prize #5 to 2, enter ‘/gbset 5 2’ (without quotes).
/gbpeek_on: Enable Peek Mode
/gbpeek_off: Disable Peek Mode
